Press: FERRARI is fed up with Sainz

Disturbing news from Maranello. While rumours are swirling that Charles Leclerc is heading to Mercedes, Carlos Sainz could be on the move. Not willingly, though...

Sainz's signing for Ferrari was already a big deal, because even with the best intentions, he and his class are not on the same level as Max Verstappen, George Russell or even Charles Leclerc. The Italian team nevertheless gave him the chance, but according to press reports it is now looking more and more like Ferrari are looking to get rid of him. Even at the top level, they are getting tired of the Spaniard's season after season without a single real flash or moment...

The situation is not helped by Sainz's constant excuses to the media. The team wants the driver to take the limelight on track and deliver good results, not to be a 'celebrity'. At the Australian Grand Prix, the rift between the two sides widened further, with Sainz causing a stupid accident, pushing Fernando Alonso out and depriving himself and the Reds of serious points. And the icing on the cake is that Charles Leclerc is also reported to have a strong grudge against Carlos Sainz...
